What's in my Makeup Bag!

Okay so it turns out I am very bad at blogging - life seems to keep getting in the way! With a baby, four dogs, and a house to organise I'm always too distracted, so apologies for that! I promise to do much better in future!
For my first post in a good while, I thought I'd pick something easy!

I'm one of those weirdos that collects makeup bags - I have far too many! This one however, is an old favourite, and holds my 'everyday' makeup.
I got my makeup bag in Publix years ago on holiday in Orlando, and I'm pretty sure it was about $5 in the sale - a complete bargain.
I absolutely love it - and even though I pack it completely full, the zip still hasn't broken on me :D

The contents of this bag usually varies, but these are the items that are in there the most. In no particular order...

Avon Magix Face Perfector
This primer comes in a white tube for an easy and hygienic application and lasts absolutely ages! The tiniest bit goes such a long way, and it feels like pearls when you rub it in. This definitely helps with shininess, keeps my skin matte and my foundation in place all day.
Detailed review and pictures coming soon.

Avon Ideal Flawless Cream-to-Powder Foundation in Ivory -
This comes in a simple black compact with a mirror and a sponge applicator - however I use my own. I absolutely LOVE this foundation, I have combination skin and find this doesn't clog my pores the way a heavy liquid foundation might - but doesn't stick to my dry patches the way a powder foundation would either! The best of both worlds! I plan to review this at a later date, I've repurchased it several times and would definitely recommend it!

Avon Eyeshadow Primer in Light Beige
Another favourite of mine! This honestly compares to much higher end eye primers, it's a slightly darker shade than the likes of Too Faced Shadow Insurance or Urban Decay's Primer Potion but I genuinely believe as a budget buy this is an excellent alternative! It lasts all day and stops any shadow from creasing on my lid - and it feels absolutely amazing! You also get a surprisingly large amount for such a small pot, so it's extremely good value for money.
Full review and swatches coming soon.

Avon Ideal Flawless Concealer Stick in Fair
Despite being in my twenties, I still get hormonal breakouts and blemishes quite often - this little genius helps to conceal these brilliantly! My only issue with this concealer is that it tends to make the dry skin around my nose more obvious so it's not great for concealing the redness in that area - but for £4 I'd be hard pressed to find a concealer that compares!

Avon Ideal Flawless Pressed Powder in Fair
This is fantastic for setting my foundation - and is a good shade which doesn't leave me looking orange!
It comes in a black compact with an applicator and a mirror but I use a face brush instead, as I find I get better results that way! I also use the light medium shade in this for contouring if I'm going out at night.

Avon Illuminating Face Pearls
This is another favourite of mine, and these last ages and ages! They come in a circular container with a screw top lid and a sponge to stop them all from breaking.
I dust these on my cheeks for an amazing glow.

Avon Perfect Eyebrow Kit in Soft Brown
I love this kit! It comes in a cute black compact with a double ended applicator (though I use my own brow brush).
It consists of wax to tame your brows and a dark brown shade to fill them in which is extremely easy to blend for a more natural look, or layer for a more defined look. I'd be lost without this, it gives me HD Brows for a quarter of the price!
Full review and tutorial coming soon.

Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Black
Beauty bloggers have raved about this little beauty since it's release - and for good reason! I am an eyeliner addict, but trying to find an eyeliner that is easy to apply and lasts on my waterline was bloody hard - until I found this one!
I love this eyeliner so much I give it as gifts at Christmas etc - I'm so eager for other people to experience using it!
Full review and swatches coming soon.

Avon Supershock Mascara Limited Edition in Black, and Avon Supershock Max Mascara (waterproof)
I know using two mascaras at the same time is a bit weird - but I LOVE these, and alternate them depending on if I feel the occasion calls for waterproof mascara or not! I feel they both perform just as well as the other - the only difference is one isn't waterproof! The Supershock Mascara also comes out in limited edition packaging a few times a year - and I simply can't help myself when it does!
Full reviews coming soon

Avon Plump Pout Lipgloss in Pink Pucker
This is actually a discontinued product, but I love it so much I'm determined to use it until the very last drop! I have two back up replacements at the ready to trial after this one is finished, but I really hope Avon brings this one back, as it really does make my lips look and feel fuller - without the horrid burning sensation some plumping lipglosses give!

Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad in Cocoa Dreams
This is also a discontinued product, from the old True Colour Range, but I absolutely love it for a neutral eye, and I'll miss it when it's finally finished! It comes with four gorgeous shades that blend extremely well and look great, even on my pale skin.
I'll be reviewing the newest alternative palette soon to compare the two.

BeautyBlender Dupe
My friend Joanna actually sent me this dupe that she got off eBay, and I use it every day! It is an extremely useful tool, it leaves my foundation looking flawless and blends it so easily around all the awkward bits, like around my nose, eyebrows etc - it's easy to wash too which means it's hygienic! However - mine is nearly done, so I need to order myself a new one asap!
Future review coming soon

Avon Pencil Sharpener
This is so so handy - I love the fact that I can sharpen my eyeliner on the go and this saves me from making any mess! It's so easy to clean too, I simply open it, empty it into the bin then wipe it with a baby wipe and voila!

Lauren Luke Brushes
I absolutely adore my LL Brushes, I own the full collection but always have the Large Powder Blush, Flat Eyeshadow Brush, Tapered Blending Brush, and Blending Eyeshadow Brush with me wherever I go!
My Large powder brush has begun to splay slightly as you can see in the picture, but for nearly two years old they're doing extremely well so far, and haven't shed at all!
Future review coming soon.

Random Angled Brow Brush
I honestly cannot remember where I got this brush - I think it came free with an eyelash extension collection set from Boots years ago but so far it's the best angled brow brush I have ever used! It's that old it's broken once before (the metal brush end came away from the wooden handle) but I loved it that much I used nail glue to put it back together lol and so far so good!

The last item in my makeup bag doesn't show up very clearly in the above picture so here's another.
Betterware Brow Stencil
This came in a pack of four pairs, but I only use the one brow stencil for both eyebrows - and I only use it roughly to help me sketch in the shape! They were £2.99 for the pack and I loved them so much I bought two! A must have for me - it makes doing my brows so much quicker!

For those of you reading this post, I'm sure you'll have noticed that nearly everything I use is from Avon.
I did NOT get paid for this post, and I paid for all the products in this post myself.
I'm completely honest with regards to my opinion on them - if I don't like a product I won't use it and I certainly wouldn't recommend it!
This is simply a glance at what I use every day, I plan to write more detailed reviews in the future - and if there's any particular product anyone would like me to review, please feel free to leave a comment and I'll do my best!

Until next time! (However long that might be lol)
