Boots.com WishList!

Boots.com WishList!

Boots.com WishList! by isla-sorna
Since becoming a Mama, I've definitely started using my Boots Advantage card a lot more!
As a result, I've accumulated a fair amount of Boots points - I currently have over £45 worth of points saved up!
I usually use my points to treat myself, so with the help of Polyvore, I thought I'd share one of my many Lists (I adore lists, they help me feel like I’m actually slightly organised) - my current Boots Wishlist!
Everything in this post can be found online at www.boots.com, and I’ve also shared the direct links below.
From left – right, clockwise:

1. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. £9.99
I’ve wanted a spare face brush for ages, so I have this one on my wishlist! I already own two Real Techniques brushes (Real Techniques Setting Brush, and Shading Brush) which I’ve been very impressed with, so I definitely plan to try a few more!

2. Max Factor Whipped Creme Foundation. £9.99
This is actually a repurchase in my wish list! In my last makeup related post, here, I was using the Avon Ideal Flawless Cream-to-Powder Foundation in Ivory, but since falling pregnant again, hormones have played havoc with my skin and increased dryness! So I had to go looking for one that would agree with my deathly pale but very dry, hormonal pregnancy skin, and I found this one, in the shade Light Ivory!
I still love a bargain, and will only buy the Max Factor foundation when it’s in the 3 for 2 sale, but it’s definitely a new favourite of mine, and I plan to treat myself to another pot of it when my current foundation runs out!

3. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. £3.99
This is another makeup item I've already used, but absolutely adore! As I've already mentioned, during pregnancy I've had to change a few products to cope with the extra dryness, and this little miracle worker has been the perfect solution to the dry, red skin around my nose. I use the shade 01 Fair - it doubles as a concealer, and a highlighter for me, and is so creamy it doesn't cause any issues for me at all, it's so easy to blend in!

4. Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer. £17
Another repurchase - though because of the price, I only allow myself to purchase one of these A YEAR. I usually pay £4 for my Avon Eyeshadow Primer, which lasts just as long and for £4, is amazing quality! However, when I do feel like splurging (which is never very often lol), I wouldn't buy any other eye primer other than Shadow Insurance! I highly recommend it, it's genuinely amazing, and the packaging is so cute!

5. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. £3.33
Something I haven't tried! I'm hoping that this will help with my dry skin, and because I've been wearing a lot more makeup lately, I could probably do with a new cleanser! The lovely Joanna has recommended it to me, and I trust her judgement! You can read her review here.

6. Real Techniques Nic's Picks Makeup Brush Set. £29.99
Again, something I haven't used yet, but I absolutely LOVE the look of the Limited Edition brushes. The silver and black is gorgeous, though once again at nearly £30 this is definitely a splurge item! I can't wait to try them!

Thanks for reading! Feel free to leave me a comment if you've ever used any of these, I'd love to hear from you. :)

  1. Brilliant post, welcome back! ❤️

Thanks for the mention and I hope the micellar water helps your skin like it has mine. I'm dying to try Shadow Insurance but at that price, I think I'll use up my No. 7 one first!

    Xoxo
