Winter Wedding Inspiration

Winter Wedding Inspiration

Now its 2016 I can finally say I'm getting married this year!!
For those of you that don't know, Barry proposed to me in 2014,  on my first Mother's Day, with Rayne beside us.

Tiny baby Rayne :)

It was perfect, and we finally set a date last year, for this year.

Of course, back then it seemed like we had loads and loads of time.... it doesn't quite feel like that now!
We only have around 10 months left and we're not exactly 'organised'.

With regards to actually planning the wedding, I've always known I wanted a snowflake -themed wedding.
And I wouldn't have my hair a 'normal' colour.
I hadn't really decided on much else, so I've spent a LOT of time in the last year making mood boards to brainstorm some ideas, and so far this board is the best of the lot.
All i know for definite now, is the theme colours, the date, the venue and the photographer!
And instead of flowers, I and my bridesmaids (and my flower girls) will be having brooch bouquets - the most beautiful things in existence!

Over the next few weeks I'll most likely be posting more of these, so if these aren't your thing, this is your heads up to avoid my blog for a bit!
And if anyone has some awesome winter wedding ideas, feel free to get in touch with them. :)

  1. Everything looks beautiful! Someone I know had snow girls rather than flower girls and had them sprinkle snow down the aisle x

    1. That's actually an amazing idea! Thankyou so much :) I've looked at wee furry boots for them so i'm tempted to make us all match lol! xo
